A beautiful wedding at Rowallan Castle in Ayrshire, filled with the most incredible personal touches and creativity from start to finish. We absolutely love a DIY bride, and this day was the perfect example of how thoughtful details can make a wedding feel truly unique.
Karen put so much care into every part of the day, creating many of the details herself. From a handcrafted veil and ring box to her own nightwear, cake, and even the flowers, everything felt completely personal and full of meaning. It brought such a relaxed and authentic feel to the celebration, perfectly suited to the setting at Rowallan Castle.
Rowallan Castle is one of Ayrshire’s most beautiful wedding venues, with its mix of historic charm and modern elegance. It provided the perfect backdrop for a day that felt both intimate and stylish, allowing all of those handmade details to really shine.
The overall look came together effortlessly, with a stunning dress from Kathy Evans Bridal paired with elegant shoes from Liberty in Love. Bridesmaids wore dresses from Azazie, while the groom’s attire from House of Henderson added a timeless finish. Hair and make-up by Kirsty Geddes completed the look beautifully.
With stationery by Kristine Nolte and entertainment from Ernest, the whole day flowed naturally, full of warmth, personality, and genuine moments.
If you’re planning a wedding at Rowallan Castle or looking for an Ayrshire wedding photographer, this is such a great example of how personal details and a beautiful venue can come together to create something unforgettable.
