University Chapel Wedding Photographer Glasgow | Spring Wedding in the City

This beautiful spring wedding in Glasgow was the perfect way to start the year. After plans had been delayed and changed, this long-awaited celebration at the University Chapel finally came together—and it couldn’t have been more worth the wait.

As a Glasgow wedding photographer, it’s always a privilege to capture weddings in iconic city locations, and the University Chapel provided an incredible setting. For the first time, we were able to photograph right at the front of the chapel, making the most of the light and atmosphere in such a stunning space.

With sunshine throughout the day and blossom in full bloom, it truly felt like spring had arrived. Glasgow is an amazing place for a wedding at this time of year, with soft light, fresh colour, and a relaxed energy that carries through the whole day.

From start to finish, there was such a natural, joyful atmosphere—friends and family coming together, laughter, and those quieter moments that make a wedding so memorable. This is exactly what we aim to capture through our documentary wedding photography approach.

And while there was a brief moment of chaos (a camera meeting a marble floor…), it didn’t take away from what was an unforgettable day and a brilliant way to kick off the season.

If you’re planning a spring wedding in Glasgow or looking for a University Chapel wedding photographer, this is exactly why we love photographing weddings in this city.
